August 23rd and 24th
10:00 AM EST
A science-based approach to spinal mobility, core stability, and pain prevention.
Lower back discomfort affects nearly 80% of adults at some point in their lives — often due to prolonged sitting, muscular imbalances, poor posture, or stress-related tension. This workshop bridges evidence-based movement principles with the therapeutic benefits of yoga to help restore function, relieve discomfort, and build long-term spinal resilience.
🔸 Core Stability & Spinal Alignment
Engage deep stabilizing muscles like the transverse abdominis and multifidus to create support from within.
🔸 Functional Hip & Hamstring Mobility
Free up tension in the posterior chain to reduce compression in the lumbar spine.
🔸 Pranayama & Breath Mechanics
Access the diaphragm as both a respiratory and postural muscle, using breath to calm the nervous system and soften guarding patterns.
🔸 Therapeutic Yoga Asana
Explore poses and transitions rooted in Hatha Yoga and Ayurvedic principles that promote balance in Apana Vayu (the downward-moving energy responsible for elimination and grounding).
🔸 Mind-Body Awareness
Bridge the anatomical with the subtle by cultivating presence, somatic listening, and energetic grounding.
✔️ Biomechanics and joint safety
✔️ Injury prevention
✔️ Breath and fascia integration
Ideal for:
Individuals with mild to moderate low back pain, yoga practitioners wanting to deepen their anatomical understanding, and anyone seeking to build a safer, more sustainable movement practice.
Lower back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, affecting mostly adults. But what most people don’t know is this:
Targeted yoga practices — when guided properly — can reduce or eliminate lower back pain more effectively than painkillers or physical therapy.
This course blends modern movement science with ancient yogic wisdom to help you build a strong, supported, and pain-free spine — at home, at your pace.
This course runs 3 consecutive days — each session includes expert-led instruction and supportive materials:
Live Session 1: Saturday, August 23
Live Session 2: Sunday, August 24
Each week includes:
🔹 Core principles to understand how your spine works
🔹 A guided practice video (60 min and 15 minutes QA) to apply what you’ve learned
🔹 Integration materials including class notes, anatomy lessons, therapeutics tips, homework, and recommended reading
I’m Sugandha Singhal — a certified Yoga Therapist (E-RYT 500), Ayurveda Practitioner, and Ayurvedic Chef with over 1800 hours of formal training.
My journey with Yoga and Ayurveda began in childhood, watching my father live these ancient teachings with quiet devotion. Though I started my career as an engineer in the corporate world, I felt a deep pull toward healing. In 2012, I left that path to study Yoga and Ayurveda full-time — traveling across India and the Himalayas to train with masters like Sri Parveen Nair and Sri Regeesh Vattakandy.
Today, I combine science-based movement, therapeutic yoga, and holistic Ayurvedic wisdom to help people feel better in their bodies — especially those dealing with lower back pain, tension, and fatigue.
This course is a blend of everything I’ve learned — ancient and modern, structural and spiritual. It’s my honor to guide you toward a more supported spine, calmer mind, and deeper sense of balance.
